Description
General Grant National Memorial, known as "Grant's Tomb," is the largest mausoleum in North America. It is located in West Harlem, New York City, overlooking the Hudson River. The memorial was built in 1892 and is a major landmark listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. It serves as the final resting place for Ulysses S. Grant, the 18th President of the United States, and his wife Julia.
